Intermountain Centers acquires The Haven

The Haven, a longtime provider of substance use disorder treatment for women in Southern Arizona, will join Intermountain Centers effective on October 1.

The acquisition represents an important next chapter for The Haven and is intended to create a stronger foundation moving forward. Founded in 1970, The Haven has helped thousands of women heal from substance use disorders.

“We are grateful to everyone who has supported The Haven throughout its history and especially during this period of transition,” said Aimee Graves, The Haven’s former Chief Executive Officer. “This acquisition provides an opportunity to build on The Haven’s legacy and continue serving women who need gender-specific recovery services.”

The Haven will continue as an organization, a subsidiary of Intermountain Centers. The mission and services for women, including pregnant and parenting women and Native and Indigenous women will continue.

“We are excited to welcome The Haven into the Intermountain family. The Haven has built an excellent reputation and provides vital services to women and families in our community. We are honored to preserve and extend the legacy of The Haven. We look forward to working with the staff to strengthen the organization in sustaining operations to meet current and future needs,” said Rose Lopez, Chief Executive Officer of Intermountain Centers.
